The technology we recommend is based on the WHIS-RAD X-ray system provided by Sedecal, one of our partners which does not require additional shielding of the room as it is a fixed X-ray and detector arrangement. The WHIS-RAD unit is a reliable system that was specified by WHO and has been installed in more than 1000 sites. This X-ray system can be paired with a Computerized Radiography (CR) that is more cost effective for small clinics and hospitals with a relatively small number of procedures/day or with a Direct Digital plate system (DR). In addition, a medial grade monitor is required for viewing and a server to provide permanent archiving aka PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
